Overnight Muesli from Chatelaine Magazine

Ingredients

125 mL (½ cup) hot water
125 mL (½ cup) rolled oats
250 mL (1 cup) low-fat yogurt (plain or flavoured)
50 mL (¼ cup) raisins
30 mL (2 tbsp) natural bran
30 mL (2 tbsp) honey
1 apple, cored and diced

Directions

In a bowl, pour hot water over rolled oats.
Let stand for 20 minutes or until water is absorbed.
Add other ingredients.
Mix well.
Cover and refrigerate overnight or for up to 2 days.
When serving, add various fruits for more flavor and fibre.

Makes 4 servings of 125 mL (½ cup).

Nutritional Information

Each 125 mL serving is 179 calories with 2 grams of fat.

Other Information

This cereal keeps well for at least 2 days.
