Cooler, greyer and windier than ideal, still eight of twelve improved upon earlier 2009 WTT bests, while 4 of thirteen improved upon previous 10km database bests.
Here is a graph showing the progress of the four who improved upon their database bests - Way to go!
Also, we had the pleasure of having a peewee rider tonight, young Hugh Xie, who met his goal of 30km/h on the nose, a fantastic ride for a 10 year old, especially so early in the cycling season! Note that Hugh's first OBC Time Trial was this year's chilly Good Friday event, and his ride tonight had a cube-speed improvement of more than 65%. Good riding from our youngest female rider too. Cadet (15-16) rider Camille Bean is currently 3rd in the all-time CAF 10km rankings. Meanwhile, at the other end of the age-scale, Jean Cooper is remarkable for he
r consistency over the past 20 seasons.
